Coastal Scotland - Who's top of the league?
The second of our mini league tables is again from north of the border, this time looking to the coast. An impressive 27 coastal sites ae covered ranging from Prestwick in the south west to a host of island patches in the north and west to several east coast patches. Again the first table shows the points totals and the league is dominated by island pacthes in the north and west while a Fife patch, Burntisland, is pushing them close and has seen more species than any other patch in Scotland, so well done to John for your points total and Chris for your species total.
So, onto the percentages and again the league table changes dramatically. 16 of the 27 patches have comparative score and John falls from the top spot down to 8th and Paul drops five places to 7th. Chris improves on his impressive position in the points table and takes top spot here. The highest climbers are the Askernish pair, Alastair and Yvonne, moving up from 7th and 8th to 2nd and 3rd. So places on the podium and a Gyr falcon on patch, what a month!!
So thats Scotland sorted, stay tuned for the next mini league................
