Inland East Anglia - the large league with some large (inland) scores!
The Inland East Anglia league isn't really a mini league, with 34 patches its pretty much the amount of patches we had predicted we would get for the whole of the UK when we first started the challenge. Not only is it large in size but it there have been a few hefty scores posted, especially for inland sites. Richard is streaking ahead by 10 points and is the only patch to have recorded 100+ species in the league. Ben isn't too far behind as winter on the Yare has been pretty good. Ed completes the top three with another 100+ points score, a pretty good effort for January.
12 of the 34 patches have comparative scores and again the league changes shape dramatically. Ben, the highest points scorer now drops to the bottom of all the patches taht have submitted scores. Alison has an incredibly high percentage, almost 75% and climbs into the top spot with Gary and Nick trailing behind in 2nd and 3rd place, although both also made big jumps up the league.
